The countdown to the new Z Series HSV has started....

I am sure "STU" knows what it looks like !!! maybe we need to ply him with alcohol over the weekend to spill the beans....

So this will be the new VXR?

I can't help but feeling *slightly* miffed, in that by buying my cv8 only 5 months ago, a new 'facelifted' model is in the pipeline (yes I know that the Monaro has been out longer, down under)

I wonder if Vauxhall (and their dealers) will give a keen px price (for a cv8) for those considering upgrading to a VXR, to maintain customer loyalty and enhance the brand ?

The other 'problem' on resale, it seems there are still a hundred plus unsold ones!!!

IF we get this model in the UK, I would not expect delivery of cars before April 2005, so time to sell the outstanding stock.....

After this revision the next model is due in late 2006.

Ready and waiting.

Joking aside, it has been downhill in the looks department for the Commodore since the VR, and the VZ looks awful. Sorry to say. Still, the AU wasn't much better.

290kW would do just fine. I actually prefer the XR6T.

I know I havent seen it in the flesh, but on looks alone, i cannot see why anyone would wanna go for the new series. More boxy and angular lost its swoopy lines. Think i will keep the VXR for now.

And, it pains me to say, the clubsport looks like an evo8 from the front!!!

Shoot me now.
