Looking at purchasing 04 Model software for bespoke tuning. Why the huge price difference between LS1Edit and HP tuners ?

Seems that in single model spec that it is 3/4 times as much!!!

I chose HP Tuners for a few reasons.....

1. HP Tuners has both Logging and PCM Editing built into one programme - You need to buy EFI Live for logging and LS1Edit for PCM Tuning..
2. Cost as it was my first time in the PCM tuning world I needed to learn for the smallest cost.

HP Tuners cost $499 - EFILive ($499) + LS1Edit ($550) =$1049 usd.

HP Tuners is only limited by model and year, so if you buy a Monaro 04 licence you can tune any 04 Monaro (so good for group purchases)

Edit & efilive are locked to 2 VIN numbers............

EFILive will have a new product out soon (well it is some months behind at the moment) to rival HP Tuners called flashscan but there is no cost yet....
