Gday guys, you've probably all seen the new engine covers on the VZ, they are the same as the GTO ones, but have '5.7 Alloy V8' on them instead of 'GTO'
Ive just put a set on my VX...i didnt like the 'no cover' look, but heat dissipation should be alot better than the 'turtle cover' and if anyone would like a set, i can get them for about $105 the pair, which is i think about 40 to 45 pounds???
The boxes they come in measure 20"x10"x6" for each side, but are very light.
If you like ill get some prices on freight and how many i might be able to get, or maybe you have some contacts for shipping instead? The part numbers are 92067293 and 92067294.
No mounting hardware is needed, as they just clip onto the fuel rails and coil packs.
Here are a couple of pics, and once again, sorry about the quality, its just a phone cam.

I really like the look of those, I would have thought quite a few people would be interested especially if it helps keep the temps down.

Put my name down for a set, anyone else ?

Update, have been to the dealers and ordered and paid for 3 sets for you, they should be there by wed or thurs.
Postage will be $47.00 Airmail (up to 10 days) $$36.50 Economy Air (up to 3 wks) or $25.50 Sea (up to 3 months)
For the little extra, i think Airmail could be the best, unless you dont mind waiting a few months.
The total would be $153.60 ($106.60 + $47.00 Postage)
So if you guys, Dan and GSE, could please email me, we can work out the details etc.
Dave has already contacted me.

PS: Where on here do i find details on contacting via PM or email, other members please?

GSE - if you want to pay by Paypal then the ammount is £67.40, quite a bargain compared to other engine covers.

Ross Thanks mate

Mine arrived this morning, they look ace, infact too nice to put under the bonnet so I may make them into bedroom wall ornaments (until my other 1/2 uses them to remove my wedding tackle)

Ross thanks for all the effort, really appreciated and it looks like you may have more punters !!

Mine have arrived too - thanks Ross. I haven't fitted them yet - I had a quick look under the bonnet this morning - can't see how they mount, do they use the threaded bolts that stick up, for the normal 'turtle' engine cover, or do they clip on somewhere else?

Both fitted now. You need to remove the two small brackets that hold on the 'turtle' cover, then the two new covers clip on.

They look great! You can see the shape of the engine and most of the ancilliaries now.

msngroups wont display a normal sized pic for some reason.
