The future according to EE-Sport

I have just spent a very enjoyable few hours talking to Allen Orchard, who is the MD of Emotional Engineering.

EE are racing the Monaro in this years British GT series which visits most of the major racetracks in this country.

To say the year has been hard for the EE team is an underestimate! but they are now over the worst of the very steep learning curve and are very well organised with next years car. (which, from the stuff I have seen will be very good!!!!)

Apart from the racing Allen is keen to pass on experience gained in the race cars to the road going Monaro's and GTS's.

The plan which is being worked on right now is to offer owners upgrades which closely resemble those proven on the race cars, with small changes to allow for the odd law or two!

The range is expected to offer Exhausts, Brakes, suspension, wheels (copies of the custom made race one's) and many other items, such as new air intake system with individual throttle bodies (pure sex I have seen them).

All parts and services would be available at a new tuning centre in Surrey right next to the race cars............

To back up this link with race car and road car there is the possibility of being invited to test sessions and having preferential parking etc at race meets
for owners...........

G'Day Paul,

Sounds fantastic mate, that's great news for Monaro & all HSV owners.

I know I don't own a HSV, would have one if I could afford one ! Have to be happy with the EH Hay ! but I'm very keen to see the car run and support the team. So that's great to hear Allen want's us to get involved.

As I am sure you already know 2004 was our (Emotional Engineering Ltd.) first year as a new race team and saw us competing in the British GT Series with the new 5.7 litre Vauxhall Monaro. It has been a year with many frustrations but still we enjoyed some highs, no seriously we did!

Throughout this year SKY TV has followed us both on and off track, recording the birth and progress of our raceteam, something that many 9-5 office workers dream of doing, my advice to them is, it is great, but watch this first... It is called OZ E-Motion and is made up of 7 x 1/2 hour programs.

Please find below the SKY timetable for the UK, you will notice some odd times like 27:50, (24 hours in a day you say ie 3:50 next morning) that is how SKY work, I wish we all had 28 hours each day!

For those of you do not have access to SKY TV we shall be putting clips from the series on www.ee-sport.com as downloads, and towards the end of the year we shall be making the whole series available on DVD (more details later).
