Thruxton race weekend 29th-30th Aug - meet the team.........

Time to get organised to watch EE-Sport race the Monaro at Thruxton..........

I am going for both days and will be camping at the circuit........

News hot off the press...................1.00pm 19th Aug 2004

The Monaro will NOT be racing at Thruxton

Due to the damage the engine received last weekend (bolt sucked into the engine!!!!!) the team feel it will be touch and go to get the engine fixed and tested in time, and with the added problem of fixing other small issues it has been decided not to race and concentrate on finishing the season on a high at Brands hatch (2nd-3rd Oct)........

not sure what you guys think about going to Thruxton anyway for a day out?? Allen from Emotional-Engineering will be at the meet so it might be nice to meet up over a coffee.........

Before Brands the team need to do some testing and an opportunity for us to watch could be on the cards..................

Sorry mate,no Monaro,no Thruxton for me.
I'm going to Shoreham either Saturday or Sunday of that weekend so we may be able to arrange a meet somewhere around Chichester to collect that mug at last. I'll get in touch nearer the time and you can advise me of your movements.

Yes Paul, Very disapointed that the Mighty Monaro will not be at Thruxton, but I will still be interested in going up if you are, even just for one day. I'll call you about it ok.
