V8 coupe Value

Hi all. First posting so please be gentle. Bought a yellow V8 in May and now want to change for a VXR, any ideas on value with 3k showing ?

HI "Caspy" and welcome to the club/forum I had a quick look on the autotrader site and dealers are asking from £26000 to £27,000 for cars with 4000 miles and even one over book with 1000 miles!!!

Why are you looking to change to the VXR?

OK OK its early i didnt read your answer.

Why!! Hmmm.

Want more power, better brakes, better handling. I can do all that to a V8 i know, but it will cost nearly as much and wont be a VXR in value terms. However, my V8 has just changed character and loosened up. Very tempting to keep and play with it.

Nope. Looks like a Vauxhall Demo car to me. Get new one tomorrow, mine is sitting here looking all forlorn.
