Cool, I'm insured through L&V and I believe they include track days on the policy - will have to check.

Checked my work commitments etc. Unless it's a Sunday, I'm out of the frame until next year. Hope something can be sorted. Rockingham could be a good venue?

I drove the International Long Circuit there last time and I suppose you could say it was a bit tight on the turns in places, is that what the problem is? Not such a problem at the time as I was in something much lighter. Loved Donington but ate pads and a nearside front tyre. I suppose that's about par for the course when you are throwing 2 tons around for most of the day though! Could it have been the engine braking that necessitated a rebuilt auto gearbox a few weeks later though?!!

I think it has something to do with an 'off' in a CAPA. I really liked Bedford Autodrome, tightly marshalled an excellent facilities (especially spectators) and relativily safe (kitty litter needed on one bend only), mind you it is flat but with lots of smooth tarmac by comparison to other airfield tracks (Binbrook,Bentwaters & Bruntingthorpe). I like to take the car home in the condition it arrived so being a whimp I would opt for airfield tracks.

My preference is a proper racing circuit, not airfields with coned track.
