Gran Turismo auto - noisy gearbox
Discussion
Hi guys,
I picked up a 2012 Gran Turismo sport auto yesterday (normal auto gearbox) and have noticed when shifting between park, neutral, drive, reverse I can hear the transmission physically moving between the selections, especially if I have the window down. The car runs perfectly fine, no warning lights or anything but just wondered if hearing the gearbox working is normal?

It is not a crunching noise or anything like that, just a tinny mechanical sound of the selector moving about
Maybe I am being over concerned but the car before this was an M5 where everything was silent.
Thanks

i have a QPV GTS
ZF gearbox.
i to have the selector click.
normal sound.
has the car had a gearbox service yet?
a stamped service history is no indication that the gearbox has been serviced,
from personal experience, a stamp even from a 'top end' dealer can mean that only an engine oil/filter has been done...
