Are GT's getting cheaper?

They are very expensive to maintain relative to value. Its very easy to spend 50% of a cars value on maintenance in three years if it is at the lower end of the market.
I own a GT, I'm not looking to buy. I'm making an observation that I think the values are decreasing and was interested to see if others thought the samecgt2 said:

I wouldn't say easy, but certainly possible if you buy a bad one. Then again the GS isn't any better, and the same can be said about a gen1 996, a Bentley Conti/Flying Spur/Brooklands, Merc SL500, high spec Range Rover, or Audi RS4/5/6 or V10 S8 for the same sort of money.DevonPaul said:

But thats the same as any of the cars listed above and or lots of other vehicles.
You dont buy a V8 of any type without knowing about the consumable costs. They are like most things, a car.
So far my Porsche Boxster has cost me much more in the 4 months I've owned this car, the Boxster set me back a few grand in the same period.
Is the gearbox in this type of car something to be scared of?

Never owned an automated manual. Interested to know how the seller can claim the clutch has 40% left..how is that measurement taken, miles?
In order to read the clutch measurement, you need the correct diagnostic tool. Just like you would with a Gallardo (for example) with the e gear systemGassing Station | Maserati | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
