Anyone Gone From an R8 to a GT (Stradale) or Reverse?
Discussion
Guys
As the question suggests, I have an R8 which I love but doesnt get used as much as it should do - 700 miles last year! Thats mainly due to having 2 kids and only 2 seats in the R8, so thinking about other options. I quite fancy a Stradale with back seat option and wondered whether those owning both have any views or not?
Thanks Chris

I went from a Granturismo S (MC Shift) to an R8 V10. R8 more reliable and can take miles without costing a fortune.
I had to get a pretty expensive exhaust setup installed to disguise my disappointment with the noise after driving a Maserati, nothing beats it. I still miss it now.
Also the 4 (decent size) seats and a decent size boot were a massive plus I also miss now, the R8 gets less use due to that.
R8 is quicker, more focussed and feels like a supercar rather than a GT (unsurprisingly). Also feels less like it might kill you when you accelerate in the wet/cold!

Had both, although my R8 was supercharged, so not a "normal" one.
R8 did cost more to run, mag ride was always an issue and due to location of engine, any issue is always bumper off which means labour diagnosis can be expensive.
Both as good in their own right. Currently own a strad (second one) & have something else for the 2 seater!
