Battery for 2012 GranCabrio 4.7
Discussion
Hi
A colleague of mine has a 2012 Grancabrio and a Golf R32 (Mk5) that have both been sat for a few months. I'm going over to his unit next week to see if we can get either of them started and we're considering taking a new battery over just in case (I think the Golf's at least might be shot). After looking on ECP it appears they could both use a Bosch S4 or S5, however I've noticed the Maserati also takes AGM batteries. Are these necessary? We're only interested in getting them both moving, so I was hoping to just take one new battery and see how far we get.
Do the AGM's need pairing to the car on the Maserati? I had one for my Z4 and that needed doing by my local indy.
Thanks for any advice!
