Maserati Grancabrio Legroom
Discussion
Please can I ask what the legroom is like in the front of the grancabrio?
I’m 6ft 4 and thinking of buying one. Would it be comfortable?
With me driving would I still be able to get my kids in the back or would the rear legroom then be too cramped?
And is their iso fix in both of the rear seats?
Anything else to consider when buying?
How much is the servicing?
Thanks

You'll be fine at 6' 4" - I'm a couple of inches shorter and had plenty of room to spare and the seat was never all the way back.
As to your children behind you, it may sound obvious but it depends how big they are! Some say you can comfortably get an adult behind you, but reality is that it would have to be a small adult - they're not quite as big as some like to profess, and in the GranCabrio the boot is miniscule once the roof is down.
But... don't let that put you off! They're brilliant cars, actually very reliable and are still real headturners.
Btw, also worth getting on the sportmaserati forum. There's an awful lot of knowledge on there.

As above.
Mine was a GT but interior dimensions are the same. I am 6' 2" and there was bags of space.
Again, as above, some people will, for some reason, tell you that it is a comfortable place for 4 full grown adults to cross continents - it isn't.
Any kid needing isofix will be fine back there, they are roomy enough for wee ones and proper adults on shorter journeys.

See my post on “total cost of ownership”. Servicing is expensive if you use an indy because the parts are expensive, and really expensive if you use an official dealership because you’re paying Ferrari hourly rates. The good thing is that the service intervals are 24 months. On the seating, I’m 6’2” and getting in the rear seat behind me is tight for anyone approaching 6’. Taller than that and it’s short journeys only. In the front, you’ll have plenty of room. As someone else has said, boot space is nigh-on non-existent, which was ultimately why I got a GT not a GC. I don't recall it particularly being an issue, but at the same time it was my first convertible. Since then can I say I recall any which were particularly better than others? Not really. The whole experience of that car - with the principle that its not raining and above about 5 degrees - was with the roof down, so I can only conclude that it didn't bother me! Enjoy it, you won't regret it for sure!

Mine didn't - that was a 2013 MC Grancabrio, if helpful.
Thanks. How did you find the open top experience without one? was there much buffering - does it actually need one? With one fitted I was able to comfortably cruise with the roof down at 100mph+ (overseas obviously) when the air temp was only 17C
