Much as I loved my GranTurismo, why on earth would anyone buy a "mid engined sports car" from a Chrysler subsidiary that has spent the better part of 20 years only making 2+2 tourers, sedans and SUV's and has no access to Ferrari engines anymore
The brand still punches above its weight IMO - I had a GT too and it attracted a lot of attention for what it was & it's value. It's no supercar but it's exotic looking & sounding. I don't think the Chrisler association hurts it or is that well known. Fair enough their recent efforts are not good, that 4x4 is beyond the paleI don't believe it! When Maserati premiered the Alfieri at the Los Angeles Auto Show, back in December, 2013 (I believe), I thought, "What a beautiful 2+2, the first reasonably priced sports GT coupe that I thought I could consider replacing my 5.0L jag XKR coupe. We were assured by the Maserati employees in their display booth that the car would be in showrooms within 18 months. That's more than 6 years ago and still just talk, talk, talk, the latest news being that maybe in 2022 it will be released as an all electric model. Don't believe it, as it won't happen.
