Maserati gran cabrio sport wing mirror issue

Hi all, can anyone assist, just taken the car out the garage and on switching the wing mirrors to come out, the near side is stuck in and only moves about 5 mm?

What’s the pip for on the underside of the mirror and should it also be the same on the n/S?

I had this once before. I pushed the mirror out manually and then I operated the button and it ‘remembered’ the position it should be in. It happened when it was very cold and worked fine afterwards. It may have happened once or twice since and I just did the same process. The little bit under the mirror I believe is the outside temperature sensor so that’s why it’s only on one of the mirrors.

Thanks Ray, I tried to force it out but it appears very tight & don’t want to break it, it almost feels like it is stuck. Also, compared to the drivers side when folded, it appears further in.

Looks like a trip to the dealer : -(
