One every 18 months/2 years?

Not especially.

Factor in the 'I've always promised myself a Maserati. But it's just sitting there not being driven' element too.

Let's face it, it is a Maserati. It's going to have eye watering bills. It's not for everyone and they may have realised after purchase that the running costs aren't that of a Mondeo.

Seems a bit high, unless one of them was a private dealer or suchlike. They are quite high turnover cars for many, some seem to buy them as a "Ferrari-Lite" and then decide they don't want Lite after all and only hold a year or two.

Average is 2 years per owner. So not particularly high. Buy on condition. Having said that I am wary on short last owner periods....unless they have spent a load on consumables and lost the will to live, then a bonus.

Quite normal on these cars... buy it, spend £3k on a few bits and bobs, move on! That’s the pattern on mine although I’ve spent about £8k in 2 years. Chopping it in shortly so the next owner (number 7!) will maybe keep it a bit longer!
