Any ideas before I take it in or look myself,
My grantourismo has developed a knocking from the front end on hardish braking or acceleration or just a change in things.
It almost sound like a suspension or bottom arm?
Anyone had anything like this and if so what was it?

Thanks in advance

Could be suspension or damper bushes but look at the ARBs first - cheaper fix.

Sorry, not much help, but mine seems to be doing the same. Seems to be when the car is pulling off, on right of left lock.

I had this, got it fixed by having the ARB's lubed, cost 1 hour labor

Then happened again & I fixed it by tightening the wheel nuts (!)

Brace yourself though as it could be the ball joints which are not available separately to the front control arms

You can get all the bushings changed on the control arms apart from the main ball joints, for about £1500. The parts are about £250 per side plus VAT plus a few hours each side to fit

Or you can get all new wishbones, with new bushings already inserted, and new ball joints too - for more like £650 a side, plus vat + fitting. It's a much more expensive part but less laborious to fit & comes to more like £2000

Just remind yourself of how nice the car looks & sounds, that's what I do when the big bills hit

P

I had something similar...multiple inspections could not find anything wrong on the ramp..it didn’t effect the handling..

Ended up taking it to Maidstone Ferrari and it was bushes...
