As I've had my car for 18 months, I thought I'd note a couple of tips about the Granturismo that I've not seen widely published.

Do you find the compass display annoying and taking up your navigation screen ? Go to Menu / Map / Display Map feature, select full map which will display the map full screen. That setting will now be remembered in the Navigation feature. As you come to a turn during navigation, a temporary window appears with the guidance. It took me about a year to work this out!

It also took me ages to work out how to reset the rear seat access mechanism when you tip the front seat backrest forward. It can get all out of sync. if the battery is disconnected but also I've found if you stop it before it's going all the way forward or back (by say touching a seat movement button) it can get all screwed up about how far it can go forward. The reset instructions are in the manual but I've found you've got to nudge the seat forward and back twice really quickly otherwise it doesn't start the reset procedure. And after it's gone all the way forward and back a couple of times - leave it at least 30 seconds as I think it needs some time to remember the positions. If you move it or tip the seat back again too soon it doesn't seem to work.

Anyway apart from that, great car, not the best handling but certainly one the best sounding cars of all time! And four seat practical.

The thing I do with the SatNav is have the direction arrow display up in place of the "digital" rev-counter. Much easier than having to peer at the map in the middle. Not quite as good as the "head-up" display in the wife's Mini, but still helpful.
