Rack rate for a 4 year which included lambda/fuel can and tracking is about £2600 at my local Graypaul.
Agree. ~£2.5k is the going rate from a main dealer. Discounts to be had. And supplying own oil can knock another £1-200 off.If anyone paid £4k and had no other work done I at least hope they didn't have to pay for the Vaseline!
I have been shopping around a bit and found Christian Lewis recommended on a few forums, based in Northampton - haven't used them but quite seems to be very reasonable and suitably informative narrative supplied per below - any views?
"The 4 year/25,000 mile service on your vehicle would be £680 inclusive of part labour and VAT. We use genuine parts and the correct spec shell oils. Included in the price we carry out a thorough health check using our Maserati SD3 factory diagnostic tool, which also check items such as clutch wear percentage. The only difference between the Maserati factory schedule and ours is the option of some additional items that were "advised."
These items are the charcoal canister filter, at £175.55 inclusive plus £24 inc. labour to fit, and two oxygen sensors, which would be a further £305.83 inclusive for the sensors and £78 to fit them. These extra items would therefore bring your total cost to £1263.38.
Just to clarify, many owners DID opt to have these done when the vehicles were within manufacturers warranty in case it was affected, nowadays most specialists offer it as a cost option. We inspect the operation of the sensors as part of the service, and can advise on there condition to help you make up your mind."

I've never heard of lambda being a service item, surely you just change when broken / throwing a fault / lumpy acceleration
I've never heard of a service being £2500 either coming from 10 years of Porsche ownership
Having had a look through my GT's invoice history wallet is slightly troubling to be honest, the cars do seem pretty reliable but goodness are there some labour intensive jobs & the parts aren't exactly cheap.

A very balanced approach IMHO if you have not extended the Maserati warranty."The 4 year/25,000 mile service on your vehicle would be £680 inclusive of part labour and VAT. Bear in mind that Maserati prices also include tracking.
