Changing Wiper Blades on a Granturismo
Discussion
The manual just says "go to the dealer" because it's hard, and an online Halfords search for the wiper sizes comes up blank for a Granturismo. So I thought I'd post a quick note on how to do it.
Sizes : 17" for passenger side and 26" for the driver side. I bought Bosch blades, SP17 and SP26S (spoiler on the driver's side) and they come with multi-fit connectors.
The passenger side is straight forward as per other cars. The driver side is a bit different :
You lift the front edge of the clip to unlock the blade. It's clearer in this picture :
You can then remove the blade. I took the connector out of the blade in case I needed to reuse it. In fact it doesn't fit in the Bosch blades because the metal frame is a little narrower.
The reason why is a little tricker to fit on the driver's side is because of the bracket is larger to connect the two wiper arms. But is it still a 9x4mm hook. I've removed the other clip - lift the top up a bit and pull off to reveal the two holes in the top.
After a bit of fiddling and eventually some brute force and ignorance, you can get the hook over the multi-clip and secure it in place. Then I replaced the clip covering the holes.
End result :
Hope this helps someone!

Top tip, put a towel or a piece of cardboard under the wiper arm in case the arm springs back against the glass.
PHers don't need to worry about the cost of course but replacing a broken screen is really inconvenient.
For once I am not speaking from experience but an aquaintance cracked his screen whilst removing the wipers.

Epic thread resurrection!
I have been disappointed in the quality of Bosch wipers lately, quality and fit seems to have slipped.
Not tried Denso so thanks for the tip.
Yes, very noticeable! I fitted some Bosch blades to my Discovery and have ended up taking them off, they were so poor!I have been disappointed in the quality of Bosch wipers lately, quality and fit seems to have slipped.
