fuel pump

any one know what this problem is
when i switch on ignition fuel pump relay comes on but fuel pump does not get voltage tested pump thats ok.checked fuses there ok.the caris a 450 chimp.

you say the fuel pump relay comes on.

Does that mean you hear a click from it, or that you've engegised it and checked the switched circuit for resistance ?

If the pump is physically ok, and you have current flow in the switched circuit the pump should run.

Check the earth point for the pump too, if you have'nt already.

Do Chim's have an inertia cut out switch like a Range Rover? another problem I've had with the Rangie is the wire from the inertia switch to the pump had bocken.
