I've just changed the front shocks of my vx carlton and now am having problems finding somewhere to reset the camber for me.

How hard is this for me to do myself, I know where the adjustment is made (the hub to shock bolts) but don't know how to measure it... is this something I can do myself and if so what do I need to measure the angle?

I can't believe the number of places that are willing to change the front shocks for me but can't do the camber adjustment even though on the front suspension you can't change the shocks without disturbing the camber... do this places just guess?

Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Mark

You could always get yourself a camber gauge and have a play with **it**yourself?
Always useful to have your own gear like this.

Edited to put the word **it** also into the post...god im getting worse.

Can do with a level garage floor, good spirit level (or plumb bob) and steel rule to reasonable accuracy.
Requires rudimentary knowledge of trigonometry and scientific calculator to get mm offset from plumb measured across wheel rim into degrees.

Thanks for the advice, finally got around to sorting this out and made myself a camber gauge. Dead easy in end.
