Plug gap for SB Chevy

I have just replaced my mechanical disty on my SB Chevy with a 50,000v HEI. It's running at 10.5:1 compression.

Can anyone suggest a sensible plug gap to run?

I'd start with about .040".
Stock Delco HEIs ran from .045" to .060" and up.
Run as wide a gap as you can sneak by with.
