Does anyone have experience/knowledge of Jaguar Supercharger units as fitted to their modern saloons?

I don't mean the cars or how they drive, i mean the actual units.

I am looking for a unit to fit to a 4 banger, side mounted over inlet ports, belt driven.

Are any of the jag units such? Are the units that fit say an XJR, the same as XKR (think they are the right model letters...)

Cheers

IIRC the XJR and XKR use exactly the same engine...

I'm guessing this is for your B-series - have you thought about adapting a kit for a mini?

for the B... I could buy actually buy one off the shelf now (bit pissed off i was beaten to it by a company in the mainstream - now everyone will want one : pout , but they are pricey so was looking for alternatives - the jag being one of them...

I put this thread on gassing and someone posted a pic of the unit i was thinking of from the jag - its maahoosive! Still, i'll keep looking and see what i find. You never know might get interesting!

Cheers!

The Jag supercharger is a Eaton M110, which is a rootes type blower but with a helical twist to the rotors which makes it much more efficent.
Coincidentally I've got its slightly smaller cousin the M90 up for sale only 300 quid?
E-mail if interested
