'High' mileage Clio 172 95 or 98 RON?
Discussion
About to take ownership of a 53 plate Clio 172, ex company car. All servicing up to date but the previous 'owner' has only ever put 95RON in it (manufacturer recommends 97/98).
Part of me says the sooner I get it onto 97/98 the better, whereas another part of me says after 67000 (primarily motorway) miles in 3 years on 95 RON changing now is going to make bu@@er all difference...
...what's our thoughts?
Cheers...

The long term use of 95 on this engine will not have adversly affected the engine in the long term. The previous owner was probably missing out on a bit more go though.
Swapping to 98 at this stage shouldn't cause you any problems at all, and it may release a few more Gee Gees.
