Hi.

Have been considering a 205 Diesel Turbo as a winter hack, and have read that it's possible to fit a Xantia intercooler to give quite a good increase in performance - can anyone give me more information on this?

Cheers, Greg

Any intercooler is better than nothing on a car without one, so I'd go for anything.

Think the 1.8 engine is quite happy to be tuned but never done anything with those personally so have no idea. Heard people suggesting 90bhp is very possible with intercooler and fuel pump adjustments.

Cheers Dave.

I'm really looking for details of the mod - what parts you need inparticular and how it's done exactly etc. I dont know if I'd be up to doing it myself - although driving experiences would be welcomed too..

They're meant to be 78bhp as standard, so I'd like to think that it'd be possible to get atleast 90 with intercooler, different fuel pump etc? I believe that Pug charged around £500 for this mod back in the day, so must be quite noticable...

Cheers, Greg.
