Hi
My 2.0 Focus has seemed down on power for a while so last week i tried a tank of Shell VPower, although this has resulted in a small improvement it has highlighted a very noticable flatspot between 3000 and 3200 rpm.
Has anyone else had any experience of this or does anyone know what could be causing this. (Car is only 3 months out of manufacturers warrenty, typical!)
Regards
Chris

sounds like the air mass meter take it off and spray some intake cleaner through it the unit also houses the intake air temp sensor you can check this with a voltmeter , with the ignition on the voltage accross the first and last pins of the multiplug ( still connected ) should be approx 3.1 v at 20C . spark plugs should be changed at 38k with a gap of 1mm
