is there no material you can take from the head???
thanks Chris.
thanks Chris.
About 3cc's at a massive push and it will have to be very carefully milled away. Not your average die grinder style "hit it!" Not sure of my chamber sizes, head in the pipes still but they are small. It'd give me about 10:1 with the 7 cc pistons I have and I want to significantly drop it to run quite a bit of boost.
see if you can get hold of a piston catalogue, I borrowed one from and engine rebuilder years ago to find a suitable piston for a special. My mate used the same book to build a 2.2 O series rover engine (Nissan 280zx pistons were the ones he needed)We got a second hand engine as a donor for less than 2pistons!! and had a couple of spares to boot.

Try these www.woessner-kolben.de/english/indexenglish.html a very good reputation for strong and light pistons IMHO
