Hello all,
I've just managed to blag a set of alloys from a friend, which is good but what's not so good is that about half the wheel weights are on the visible face of the wheels.
Can I just move them onto the other side of the wheel? If so, how?
Thanks,
MazakMan

Thats quite funny...
Nope, you need to take them to a tyre balancing place and get them to rebalance the wheels, most places can use adhesive ones that wont show.

Er, well, you see the wheel balancing place will place weights appropriately to balance your wheel. Moving the weights will tend to have the effect of changing the balance.
Perhaps its one of those things that only seems simple once you've had it explained?...
Just as an side, I had a wheel ballanced the other day - the guy stuck loads of weights on the wheel moaning how out of ballance it was. I then looked and seen hid stuck these between the spokes and looked like a dogs dinner. Had a word and after he took of about 10 weights, ballanced it in the inner rim and only used two weights!!
So it matters how much and where the weights are placed, not just how much.
