HI

My tintop is a Nissan Primera on a 54 plate.
It was suffering from vibration coming from the front of the car, the vibration use to start at about 60mph and were increasing up to about 80mph

I had the front wheel balance this morning and the vibration are still there.
They seemed to be worse on acceleration and I can feel them more trough the seat and pedals than the steering wheels. At 80mph their is so much vibration that all my body is shaking.

Any ideas what could cause it?
Is the car still safe to drive?

Thanks for your help

Wheel bearing? Is it worse on a high-speed curve one way than the other?

Jack each side of the car up and give each wheel a damn good push/pull/turn/wiggle. That might give you a clue as to whats what. Although as it sounds pretty terminal I would take it to the dealer and get them to look at it. Could be a suspension bush that has given up the ghost.

90% likel;ey to be the driveshafts, knackered inner CV joints most likeley, check for leaking boots etc, or just geta garage to check

could be mishapen wheel/tyre to, so try swapping em front to rear first

Some cars have dampers on the actual driveshaft (Usually to help with uneven driveshaft length) they look like a metal do-nut fastened to the shaft.
Sometimes they come loose. Don't know if the Nissan 'primeval' has one, but it might be worth checking.

The car is at the dealer and still no news!

Wonder what they will find, as last week when I said I had this problem, they said it was fixed when I pick it up
