Right, I need a new fuel pump. I know what pressure I want to run it at, but how do I figure the fuel flow needed, so that I can read off the pressure/flow charts that manufactures provide?

Presumably it's pretty closely tied in with the expected power output of the engine...eg 250hp needs ____ litre/hr.

Does the fuel pressure regulator have a flow/pressure specification?

It's a variable pressure regulator, although I may be reverting back to the standard hotwire one.

I think this here will cover for your question:
www.rceng.com/technical.htm
Have a look under Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC)

Edited to say better do a goggle on BSFC as the link will not help much to calculate, sorry.
