flat spot v6 2.9

Apparently i have a flat spot on the engine ,only slight but causing me some problems so 2 questions

A.how do i find what is causing it ?

B.how do i fix it ?

any help appreciated

i have been told so far may be a dodgy lead or plug

not coil tried 2 now new dizzy and arm last year
leads are racing magnecor leads
new plugs fitted 4 months ago
disconnect TP makes no difference
newish air filter

if its not a missfire iwould try changing the throttle pot

seemed to have come to the same conclusion now will give it a go
