We have a new axle... after realising that we'd bent the shafts and tubes on the old one, the decision was made to replace it..

Our team philosophy tends to be, if something is broken, mend it so it won't break again..

So.. we now have this bad bod..

Rated to 1200hp, based on a Ford 9 inch.. but almost entirely built with Strange parts..

Andy Robinson built the axle for us, he's a master craftsman!

believe it or not.. that's the medium duty axle..

We could have spec'd one for up to 2500Hp, but thought it would have been overkill! (add to that the fact that we didn't want to spend quite that much money!!)

MEDIUM duty?

What on earth is a heavy duty one like?

The heavy duty one looks more or less the same.. although the "legs" tend to be shorter! It's the internals that make the major difference..

have a look at www.robinson-race-cars.co.uk for details..

It'll come in time...

Some porting first I think, there's a good 50-80Hp to be had from the heads and intake runners..

Then, after that, maybe a rotating sucky thingy
