Master Brake Cylinder for Wedge 350
Does anyone know of the Unipart-Girling part number for the above.
Is there not a plastic tag round the cylinder?
a pic msy be of assistance
There will also be a number etched or cast into it. With this I find a call to Girling or AP normally gives me the info. Might also be worth phoning a decent motor factors
as TVR are probably listed, my Reliant SS1 was for quite a few bits.
The master cylinder number is not a good indicator of the part number. Tends to be generic. It is also made very complicated as TVR used about 7 different varients on the Wedges ranging from TR7 through various Cortinas etc. Some had two and some had three pipes to the brakes. Some had 180 degree bolt arrangments, some had offsets.
Wot the Oracle said plus... The number cast in is a casting number just that! I know this sounds like stating the obvious but the part is machined after the casting process so different bores etc. are possible from the same casting.
