Are there any MBE ecu experts on here?
I am trying to get a dizzyless system running on an A-series mini ignition only.
I ahave a 36-1 trigger wheel on the crank and a sensor mounted with the missing tooth at 90DTDC.
I also have a base MAP setup by SB Developments, but the car won't start.
In the basic engine settings there is an option called "Ignition Offset" then two setting called "fine" and "Coarse".
I think these relate to the position of the Crank position sensor. If so how do the numbers relate to the angle at which the the crank sensor is positioned?
The two setting above are set at..
Fine - 4.1
Coarse 22.
What do these figures mean and what do I need to change if my crank sensor isn't exactly at 90DBTC?
Cheers
Steve

90 BTDC sounds like a lot for the missing tooth ????
Try asking some of these guys

Some do run mapped ignition, although I doubt any use MBE' stuff
Do you have spark ?
I assume you can check to see if the ecu knows the engine is turning ( ie. it recognises the crank trigger )
