petrol pissing out of the carb overflow

As the title says, on my 125 motorbike, if I turn the fuel tap to 'on' then petrol just flows straight onto the floor out of the carb overflow tube.
I've got no idea how to fix this, lil help?

Try tapping it low down where the float bowl is. This sounds like either a sticking ffuel bowl needle (stuck off it's seat) or a damaged float which no longer floats and raises the needle to close off the petrol.

Sound like you ran it low on fuel - dirty fuel.

Take the tank off - flush inside with fresh fuel (check what comes out)

try other tapping idea.. then remove carb and check for debris..
