Hello

On my way down this morning to see my family in Dorset, I managed to hit a stone.
I have now a leak where the lower pipe and the engine connect.
The leak will probably empty the engine of all oil within a few hours

I don’t know if the stone fractured something or just dislodged the pipe.

I cannot leave the car at my uncle’s. This is why I need to be able to drive it back on Sunday.
Is there someone with a jack who could help me in further inspecting of damages? And maybe in some kind of repairs?

I’m in Charmouth near Lyme Regis

The car is a 21 with a dry sumped VVC

Thanks for your replies.

Jack

I guess your'e not in the AA/RAC then - as they will assist in bodging it with JB Weld or similar.

Joining the AA is most likely the cheapest option.
My son joined on the M4 after breaking down. It only cost him the membership even though they towed him off the motorway then fixed the fault.

I am a AA member and this would be the last solution.

I believe it is just a question of replacing the hose correctly, and without any lifting equipment I cannot do it because the car is 2 from the ground

If JB weld could sort it I might try it myself.
I just need it to hold until Sunday when I could have proper look at it.

Could you drive it up a raised kerb stone and then get underneath?

You'll have a job getting every trace of oil off and keeping it like that while you put the epoxy on. I think you'll probably have to do it mechanically.
