Ok, have a car (Suzuki Cappuccino, 3-cylinder) in a mates garage over the winter and its basically not turned a wheel, been started or drained of fluids etc. Basically not been properly 'layed up' (never intended it to be there that long).

So is there any advice on restarting the thing other than turn the key and cross my fingers......? Odd question I know, but was thinking maybe add a touch of oil into the top of the engine to aid circulation although dunno if this will make any difference.

Basically any handy tips, I am assuming it will be ok, and will be recieving a service (elsewhere) once running.

Thanks
Ross

Check fluids(ALL!), Charge battery, air in tyres. If you really want to, pull the plugs out and spin the starter till the oil light goes out. Drive it round the block and check the breaks are OK. Stop and look at the disks to make sure all the corrosion has been cleaned off.

It probabley won't start without some fresh petrol and put some fuel system/injection cleaner in with the 1st tankfull of go-juice.
