v8 5.0 crank

Hi, someone has told me that you can have a 4.0 rover crank reground to become a 5.0 litre crank! is this right , or is the 5.0 crank totally different, thanks.

You could have it offset ground to 86.5mm or thereabouts but it would be simpler just to buy one already done rather the risk having it done incorrectly. Next you'll need shorter pistons.
