Hi, does anyone know of a link where I can check or cross reference piston sizes, ie 94 mm rover pistons what other engine will these fit? thanks.

Oo, can of worms time! Have you ever seen the reference books that engine reconditioners have? They make the London phone book look like a Ladybird first reader (can you still buy them? ).
The only time I've ever known piston swaps to work successfully is when they are slightly different versions of the same engine, otherwise the number of variables you have to consider is hellish....

I've done this excercise and it's bloody hard. First get the bore, then the pin diameter and the bowl volume and the compression height. By the time you've acxcomodated any changes you could have bought forged from the States, well almost

What are you after if you don't mind my asking.

Thanks for the replies, I have some pistons I might be getting rid of and I was wondering what else they wold fit so I could include tis in the ad, thanks.

Best describe them as rover pistons. They won't work well in a VW and you could get complaints.
