K-Series Nitrous?
Discussion
I have a Libra with a VVC K in it, and am VERY happy all round with this engine. Currently putting out around 160bhp at the flywheel. I have been looking into various tuning options, but with a ceiling of around 185bhp retaining the VVC system, any more power gets expensive and involves junking the VVC. Also makes the car lumpy low down apparently, and 75% of the timw it's on-road and touring.
So I have been looking into Noz, current train of thought is "only" 50 or 75 bhp, wet system with the best programmable NOZ controller available. My engine is only 9k old and standard internally. Has anyone here actually used NOZ on a K, and what's the verdict? A well controlled occasional 210-235 seems fine according to website bumpff, but who can advise me from the "real world"??

i wouldn't push a K anwhere near 200bhp without a forgded bottom end! not worth it mate! also i dont think the k is the strongest of engines out there! what is it in???? is there anyway of fitting a better engine????
Chris.
Yeah check with GTM if the Honda conversion (the current factory lineup can run Honda engines), is feasable on your version of their car, lots more tuning opportunity on a B-series.

thought they used the K20 engines these days????
also the VAG 1.8t is another good choice esp. if you like the sudden kick of n2o!
