Central Locking

Hi any body know how ford wire their Escort central locking?

As far as I can see its a tempory make contact to lock / unlock between two signal wires.

Reason - I'm considering adding a remote as the drivers door will not unlock and the remote switch and fob is considerably less expensive than a new door lock!

the central locking locks and unlocks only off the drivers door as it is only a switch atatched to the back of the lock in the drivers door i fitted an aftermarket solinoid onto my escort cab off the door pin and it workes fine. Hope its some help for you
