Engine Design.......
Discussion
This is probably a bit marginal from a post closure perspective. I've just spotted a very small ad in our local rag for people to design engines. It's not my bag at all in a professional sense, I don't know if the job is good or bad, although it looks like a pretty "hands on job" I'm aware that at the moment engineering is quite depressed, and jobs like these are few and far between, and candidates are many in number.
The job is on the sussex coast. Mail me, and I'll forward the details if you're interested.

Cheers Dilbert, Ive come across alot of folk (some even on these boards) who think they know alot about engines. Alot of them are "Men-gineers" or mechanics/technicians who call themselves engineers...
Im willing to take a guess that the pay is pretty dire as it always seems to be in the UK.
I am missing the UK but it`s my house I miss mainly.....and i´m loving the work atmosphere here in ze fazerlend, where it´s not illegal to show enthusiasm for what you do!

I think your assesment may be correct. The ad looks like an opportunity for a graduate, but they're specifying 4 years+ experience. From my own area, I know this is common practice at the moment.
These might be at my place of work, though didn't think we were after designers at the moment. If you are in auto engineering then you might find some jobs on our website - www.ricardo.com

If it IS Ricardo, they do pay rubbish.....specially for the south coast.
Some talented guys there.....others....from experiences on some projects....well I wouldn't want to break any of the PH rules now would I? ;(
Did you not check my e-mail?
The contact e-mail address, has a a partial URL which you can use with your web browser. Their website is not that of Ricardo.
