Nissan SR20 NA questions

Hi, hope someone knows this - the engine is the 150ps NA SR20, e.g. Primera eGT, Almera GTi, NA 200sx S14, etc. is this an interference engine? Also, is the tensioner run purely off oil pressure or is it spring loaded, the manual isn't clear.

I'm basically in the situation where It bumped over backwards a couple of times parked on a hill and now turns over fast & kind of off-beat, and doesnt start.

do you mean the timing chain tensioner? on the sr20det its spring loaded
