anybody know if they used this in the usa is there a supercharger kit
for this engine or did they just waste it on a granada/scorpio
ANY INFO OR LINKS WILL HELP CHEERS

As far as I know only fitted to the Granada/Scorpio - and only with an automatic gearbox just to make things worse.

nope, only released for the european market mate.

nowhere NEAR as exciting or bansheelike as the YB Cosworth lumps although V6 turbo must be good fun too.

scorpio was a horrendous motor, and that engine was terribly wasted.

I work on these engines a fair bit BOB is the better unit to get. It's better balanced internally and has hotter cam profiles then the BOA. Downside imo is that BOB has two timing chains, both somewhat weaker then the BOA single chain (which can stretch quite a lot given it's length). My ideal stock engine would be a BOB with BOA timing chain and heads and a better intake manifold. There's some info on my site.
