cheap alloy rads.... worth it or pointless
Discussion
I got a Nissens aluminium radiator for my 306 gti6.
From Pug an Ordonez OEM one is about £150, and my Nissens (meant to be a good brand, but never heard of them to be honest) was £100 delivered.
Really good. A few small discrepancies in design over OEM that you need to spot (oil cooler water return pipe had a wider shoulder, so putting the rad into the car was tough as the manifold is in the way now, and the drain plug is in a collar, so is even HARDER to get at now)...
Apart from that it works great, and it's a good 500g-1kg lighter too!
