Fiat Diesel engines

Hi, can anyone tell me what the differences are between the diesel engines fitted to the Tipo range and the Bravo/Brava/Marea range. I am looking to replace the engine in my Tipo and was wondering if these later engines fitted easily or is there a lot of work involved? Thanks

not sure, what did change was the injection systems, the porter book on the tipo and bravos etc tell all of this in good detail. the bravoas had a coded ecu and fuel pump arrangement the tipos did not. Also the jtd engines are vastly different from the lucas 8v mechanical units.
