Composite gasket material

Does anyone know where i can get this from,in sheet form please?I'm looking for the same type as used to make exhaust gaskets.I also only want to buy a small quantity for now.Cheers,Mike

I think a similar material is used in industry for making gaskets for steam pipe ?

Might be worth contacting suppliers of that type of stuff.

Frost do gasket material but I can't see quite what you want here.

If they don't do it they may be able to point you at someone who does.

Cheers gents.I was wondering if steam pipe material would do.The company i used to work at used a lot of this,so i recognise it,don't know where i would get some from easily now though.The Frost site looks like it might have something.The 'red fibre' in a size of 325x325x1.5mm sounds interesting(no pic though),i'll give them a call.
