Hi, A mate keeps talking about getting a manifold made up to fit Bike carbs, but he hasn't done anything about it yet. Just how would he go about this?
Are there specialist fabricators for such things and who?
etc etc...
Cheers

There are endless light engineering firms who can bash metal for you, but ideally you want to use somebody who is familiar with the principles of engine tuning to ensure that the manifold works well rather than just fill the gap between the throttle bodies and the head.

It would reduce the amount of work involved if your friend could get himself a spare manifold that fits the engine, and also one that fits the throttle bodies, to give the fabricator a source of suitable flanges. If you're looking for specific recomendations, there are various specialists on BHP World who have done this sort of thing in the past. But the more of the work your mate can do, the cheaper it would be.
