Seen an ad for a car with a "TH350 Chevy 3 Speed Auto Box and a BM Super Shifter"... what is the super shifter bit mean and what does it do?

Thanks,

Mark

I have a feeling the "BM Super Shifter" is a B & M Gear lever assembly...

But... I've had a look at my jegs and summit catalogues and can find no reference to a Super Shifter...

There are Mega, Star, Pro Ratchet, Pro Gate, Magnum Grip and all sorts of other shifters available...

What do they do though? Are they just different styles of shifter and they all still basically allow a choice of 1-2-3-d-r?

Thanks.

The pro-bandit on our dragster gives us 1-2-N-P-R, looking at Summit the rest of the B&M shifters provide ratchet selection of the available gears...

Have a look at www.jegs.com/ or www.summitracing.com/ you should be able to find some details of the B&M shifters there, or alternatively have a look at www.bmracing.com/ ... I can't find any reference to the Super Shifter on there, but it may be worth dropping them an email to see if they can give you any more information.

Ive got a B&M mega-shifter. Essentially gives you a punch up - punch down ratchet action.
