I've got a 2018 BMW X4. It went in last Friday to BMW for the recall on having the EGR replaced due to a recall. Since getting the car back I can notice a burning smell when accelerating. Any ideas what this can be?
May be remnants of the detritus that builds up in and around EGR valves. I am no expert though, so would suggest you ask at the place that did the recall.
